Ms. Brenda is the best counselor ever. She is one of the main reasons I'm still alive!! This place has truly been a Blessing!!
If you are in need of help with your chemical dependacy addiction bridgeway behavioral health is the place to go. If you don't have insurance thier is no need to worry because it is 100% free. I went to detox here for five days then went into thier impatient program out in st.charles for thier 21 day program. I also highly recommend that place as well. Now since I got out of the impatient program I have been coming here for a couple months and it has been a great experience and a wonderful support system for me. They also help u with whatever medicine you may need or housing, employment, whatever u need help with they got you. Go check them out. It's well worth it.
I actually did the outpatient detox at the Vandeventer location before they moved to this new building and the counselors were all very nice and not judgemental of me and my addiction. They were very encouraging and super positive and supportive of me choosing to get clean from heroin. Also, the outpatient detox is the way to go if you already have a job and a busy life and can't afford to do inpatient and miss work for 21-28 days. You do the initial phone interview and then receive a day to come in and talk with the staff in person as quick as possible unlike a lot of other places that seem to take months to get in. The only part that was hard for me was the first day when I physically went to talk to the staff because I had to be in withdrawal state so I could get the medicine that helps get you off of the heroin, but after my first initial dose of the Subutex, they slowly bring down the amount of Subutex they give you so by the last day you dose, it's barely anything at all and you don't even have to go through the process of terrible withdrawls from the heroin. Without the Bridgeway Outpatient Detox program, it's a very high chance that I would have never been successful getting off of heroin all by myself. They saved my life and I highly recommend this program to anyone who is serious about changing their lives and getting clean so they have a chance to live a happy, healthy, and successful life drug free!! It's scary at first, but life is so much better for me now that I am finally clean again and the entire process of changing everything in my life was worth it and I wouldn't change doing this program for anything in this world!! Thank you for giving me back my life, Bridgeway!!!!
This place saved my life. I love the staff. Most of the staff have been addicts to even the doc and they understand and truly care for your recovery
This rehab was one of the best rehabs in the state of Missouri. I was deeply saddened when I learned Bridgeway bought them out and turned it into a detox. The staff there was made up mostly of former addicts and they were very supportive and understanding about the struggles addicts face. the groups we did and stuff we talked about sticks with me to this day. RIP Preferred-Eli G
